Hunter Douglas facades represent a rich heritage and tradition of innovation

A global leader in architectural building products such as window coverings, wall cladding and ceiling systems, Hunter Douglas also has a rich tradition of manufacturing high quality ventilated façade systems.

With production starting more than 35 years ago, the internationally renowned Hunter Douglas Group has continually invested in research and development to create ground-breaking façade systems.

The company’s ability to work closely with architects and contractors - from initial design stage, through manufacturing to installation – ensures a high level of flexibility in the production process and an ability to create bespoke solutions for a wide range of projects.

From Multiple Panel to Quadroclad, Hunter Douglas facades offer an unparalleled degree of design freedom through the availability of shapes, joint options, materials, finishes and colours.

Quadroclad consists of honeycomb core panels with facings in coated or anodized aluminium, zinc and stainless steel. The key qualities of Quadroclad panels are the light weight and the superior flatness - even on very large panels.

Sizes can go to 1500 mm width x 10metres in extreme cases and the finish is super sharp with very clean lines and there are a variety of fixing systems available.

MPF, or Multiple Panel Format, offers a plank style, single skin panel in the same range of metals as Quadroclad. It is a versatile panel with widths from 150mm to 600mm x 6metre maximum length.

Joints can be opened or closed and played to good architectural effect. The panels are available with flat and variable contoured surfaces.

“Our comprehensive range of materials, colours and finishes offer little restriction to design boldness, or subtlety,” explained Andy ffolkes, Facades Manager for Hunter Douglas UK. “We can create solutions with our own hardwearing Luxacote finish to high tech colour coatings on aluminium, or natural finishes such as zinc, copper and stainless steel.

“Our ability to provide consultation service to specifiers, engineers and installers from early concept stages to provide workable and cost effective solutions to support project requirements is also an important aspect of our operations.”

The Multiple Panel Façades – MPF – provided by Hunter Douglas are cost efficient, precise roll formed, single skin plank style panel systems available in aluminium, zinc and copper materials.

The MPF solution offers great design flexibility through range of widths, joints and lengths. Key features include: can achieve flat and parabolic forms; able to be laid horizontally, vertically or diagonally; 200mm to 600mm widths in 50mm increments; and lengths up to 6m as standard.

Hunter Douglas is leading the way in terms of sustainability and raising awareness of the importance of environmental issues. The aluminium used by Hunter Douglas is 100% recyclable.

For almost 50 years, Hunter Douglas products have contributed to the sustainable thermal, acoustic and visual appeal of buildings across a wide range of branches and sectors, from trade to industry and from the catering business to government. These products consistently meet the needs of architects, designers and contractors, thanks to Hunter Douglas’ intensive collaboration with these parties.
